Robert Young Alexander Valley Big Rock Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Big Rock is one of our best vineyards and the reason we named a wine after it. It was an extensive large boulder field that occupied the site before it was made into a vineyard in 1985. The site is on the farthest edge of the remnants of the most volcanic explosion from Mount Helena to the east and is a beautifully well drained hillside site. The Big Rock Block Cabernet Sauvignon is one of our biggest Cabernet Sauvignon’s and aged 20-24 months in French Oak barrels (40% new or more). It is a dense, but drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon, one with excellent structure, soft tannins and rich, ripe dark berry flavours.

Le Ginestre Barolo Sottocastello di Novello DOCG 2014
Deep, bright ruby red with slight orange hues; expansive, clear-cut nose, with hints of violet, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet tobacco and liquorice; very structured, soft mouth-filling taste, which is lightly dry with an appealing, long, spicy finish. Its structure and wealth of polyphenols give this wine an exceptionally long cellar life, during which its tasting properties continue to develop.
