Maison Shaps Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Zone: Two different sites, one in the Haute Côte de Beaune and the other in Pommard.
Grapes: Pinot Noir
Colour: Bright in colour.
Bouquet: The wine is heavier, and more concentrated with more depth than a typical Burgundian classified pinot noir--more similar to a Pommard in style.
Flavour: Bright red fruits with moderate tannins and moderate structure.
Pairing: This wine is still quite young and will continue to improve for 5-7 years.
