Languedoc, France

Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, surrounded by its vineyards, Domaine Gayda is a new destination in the Languedoc, 25km south west of Carcassonne, in the village of Brugairolles.  Owners Tim Ford and Anthony Record joined forces with winemaker Vincent Chansault to build the new winery in 2004, creating the new face of wine for the region.  Domaine Gayda has a passion for the traditional ‘cépages’ grown across the many diverse soils and climates of our vineyards situated throughout the Languedoc, giving “Provenance” to all our wines. While the grapes are rooted in tradition, the winery itself is all about the new, with investments in all the latest equipment and technology.



Cotes de Gascogne & Bas-Armagnacs, France

Established in 1912 by the Gassa family, Domaine du Tariquet is now run by the third generation of the family. They run the property with an eye on the future and have built a business that is well placed to meet market demand. With close to 900 hectares of land, they produce Tariquet white wines and Bas-Armagnac brandies that have won international acclaim.  The foundation of their success rests on their bold, rule breaking philosoply.   The challenge was to seduce the consumer, which Tariquet has done, defying all tenets of white wine consumption. 


Cotes de Provence, France

The House of Breban Wines ("Vins Breban") has been producing and supplying a wide range of wines of varying styles and aromas since 1952.  Vins Breban” brings to market each year more than 50 different wines, over 7 million bottles in total comprised of roses, whites, reds, wines BIO, stills and sparkling wines.  These fine wines of the Provence region are produced from grape varietals raised along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, from the Sainte-Victoire mountain range in the west to the hinterlands of Haute Provence Alps in the east.  Wines from this region inherit their best characteristics from local soil, wines which are notable for their strong character combined with delicate bouquet.  The wines of Provence are often described as colorful, lively, aromatic, fruity, and mischievous in nature.


Meursault, Burgundy, France

Founded originally in 2004 as Maison Shaps & Roucher-Sarrazin, the winery was taken over by Michael Shaps in 2012. Continuing with the same philosophy, Maison Shaps is a small “garage-iste” winery producing less than 12,000 bottles per year from some of Burgundy’s finest appellations and vineyard sites. Michael oversees the leased vineyard sites and produces wines using traditional Burgundian techniques, with the objective of making authentic wines that exemplify the rich heritage of the Burgundian villages.  The winemaking takes place in the cuverie (tank room), a former garage that is situated over the main cave that is capable of aging 60 barrels. The secondary cave is located under the main residence where the reds go through the second year of aging. The cuverie is designed to work in a traditional gravity flow method.


Bordeaux, France

Vignobles Darriet has been in the hands of the same family for 8 generations.  Today, they own several properties, managed by a young team, supported by the previous family generation. Quality is part of an approach of excellence within our properties.   One key property, Château Les Tourelles, was acquired in 1938. This property has the characteristic to produce wines on several different appellations, such as Bordeaux, in red, white and rosé, but also in Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux (red wine) and in Cadillac (sweet wine).

Piedmont, Italy

Araldica produces the best wines of Piedmont from the most suitable areas of Monferrato, Gavi, Langhe and Roero. Founded in 1954 in Castel Boglione, a small village between Asti and Acqui Terme, today Araldica Vini is a cooperative that has 140 members, of which it coordinates and guides the work starting from the vineyards.   Enhancement of traditional vines, choice of the best varieties based on microclimate and terroir, respect for the environment and the characteristics of each wine: Araldica is a large cooperative that, while producing important volumes, has not forgotten a familiar and artisanal approach to the vineyard, considered the fundamental starting point for producing large labels.


Neive, Piedmont, Italy

The Lequio Family owns the Prinsi Winery, located in Neive – Piedmont, locally known as Langa (in the Barbaresco growing area).  The family has been running the business for three generations; Daniele’s grandfather Ottavio started bottling his own grapes at the end of the 1940s.  Franco, Ottavio’s son (Daniele’s father) in 1967 he entered the family business and decided to dedicate himself completely to wine making.  After many years, he and his wife Silvana together redefined the course the winery would take: putting plenty of time and attention into growing of the grapes – which they consider the one and only starting point to make great wines. In 1999, Franco and Silvana’s son, Daniele also started working at the winery as an agronomist.  Daniele is a farmer, passionate about his work and the Langhe area he grew up in; fully convinced of the great result that his grapes can display.  His utmost goal is to create wines to remember. Today, this enthusiastically dedicated family seeks to preserve the strong link with their territory and transfer this uniqueness to their wines.

Alto Adige, Northern Italy

Luna Nuda Brand

Luna Nuda is the Italian phrase, meaning “Naked Moon” often used by vintners to describe a clear night sky with a bright full moon shining and shimmering over the beautiful Italian countryside, the fresh smell of dew as it softly dusts the trees carried in the calm whispering breeze.  An experience that has and continues to inspire generations of Italian winemakers.  Luna Nuda was created in Alto Adige Italy at the Castelfeder Wine Estate.  The vines bearing the grapes for these fine Italian wines have seen many generations of naked moons, and we believe there is a little of that energy and beauty inherent in each bottle of our wines. 


Chianti, Italy

The Azienda Agricola Castello di Radda is located on the hills eastern hills facing the town of Radda in Chianti, and under the Castello di Volpaia borough. The vineyards are exposed from the south-west to the south-east with clay and limestone soils of a medium texture, with a good skeleton percentage, particularly suited for the cultivation of Sangiovese and Canaiolo.  Castello di Radda was acquired by the Beretta family in 2003.  The project is realized with the recovery, in qualitative terms, of the 45 hectares of vineyards and the construction of a large cellar built according to the plans of the architect Spartaco Mori.  


San Clemente, Emilia Romagna, Italy

The wine estate began 60 years ago with our grandfather Enio Ottaviani.  We are located in San Clemente (Rimini), Emilia Romagna, Italy. It is a family estate, passed on from generation to generation, in continual development.  Our family grew up amongst bunches of grapes and authentic Romagna. We are dedicated to our work in the vines and in the cellar and share the fruit of our land with our guests.  We believe that what is in our glass is all the poetry of the earth.  We make wines for our friends, because sharing wine is a priceless value and wine is the maximum expression of joy at the table.


Friuli, Northern Italy



Founder Eugenio never imagined that a century after the Collavini began their family run vineyard in 1896 that their wine would spread throughout the world. It was Giovanni’s son Manlio who noticed the first signs of major changes and indeed almost anticipated them. He was one of the first to take Friulian wines abroad.  The love for Friuli have today placed the winery at the top of territorial production.  Today, Collavini is a family-owned limited company  managed by Manlio and his sons Giovanni, Luigi and Eugenio.


Chianti, Italy

A Place of Great Passion


Dianella’s winemaking tradition goes all the way back to the end of 17th century. From the beginning of the 19th century, Dianella’s Chianti could be found all over the best italian trattorias and restaurants and also at the Quirinale Palace’s table during Gronchi’s government.  Dianella’s modern history begins in 2003, when Francesco and Veronica Passerin d’Entreves move to Dianella, starting a slow but inevitable remoderning process of the farming and tourism of the estate. The theme throughout this renovation was to respect the terroir’s traditions while always look to innovate both in the vineyard and in the cellar.  This careful approach is reflected in the wine and all the other produce of Dianella’s estate. A further step in this direction was taken in 2004 when the winemaking duties were handed over to Franco Bernabei, a strong supporter of terroir, local grape varieties and Sangiovese, the grape most produced within the estate.



Piedmont, Northern Italy

Il Botolo is a boutique winery that is all about passion. Their wines are the reflection of a truly special territory in the heart of Piedmont, which has brought acclaim not only to this region but to Italy. “Great wines are made in the vineyard”, as always been the company philosophy and they still draw inspiration from this proverb today. The journey continues with the same passion, tradition and attention to detail in the vineyards, where a little dog with a big personality that we call “Botolo” keeps them company and who today is the symbol of the Estate.


Valpolicella (Verona), Italy

L 'Azienda Agricola Lavarini has a long history with three generations of winemakers, who have been crafting wine since the 1970’s. Today, Massimo Lavarini, continues the family tradition with passion and enthusiasm for the family business.  The company's philosophy derives from the firm belief that the quality of the wines is a direct consequence on the quality of each individual phase the production process.  They believe in a combination of tradition and innovation. Massimo uses the experience and knowledge that he learned from his father and grandfather, combined with technical innovations in production to produce the typical wines of Valpolicella DOC and DOCG wines: Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso Valpolicella, Amarone and Recioto.


Langhe hills, Piedmont, North-West Italy

“Cantina Le Ginestre” is a wine-growing family business located in the village of Grinzane Cavour, in the Langhe hills, a Unesco Heritage, in Piedmont, North-West of Italy.  The small Ginestre hamlet was already marked on land registry maps as far as the 1700s, and it has always been inhabited by wine-growers, who have passed on their passion for working in the vineyards with the skills that are still theirs today. Some of them, who worked in the property of Camillo Benso Count of Cavour, architect of the Unification of Italy, were the Audasso family’s forefathers. Nowadays in the Mask Room of the Castle of Grinzane Cavour it is possible to see the Land Registry Maps of the 1783, where our property is marked, as it once was called, the “Region of the Ginestre”.


Abruzzo, Italy

Novaripa is the union of great stories and humble families who for centuries have chosen to protect their ideals by preserving the tradition of the land and the cultivation of the vine. The winery was founded in 1969 as a cooperative between 20 growers. Today the agricultures are 400, covering 700 hectares of vineyards located in Abruzzo, region where the 40% of its territory is dedicated to wildlife, protected parks and where wonderful beaches join the mountain landscape in a very short distance. Today Novaripa is seen as a benchmark for its quality in the entire region, it is a cooperative that works with the entrepreneurial spirit.

Rockburn takes its name from the rugged, rock-strewn, burn-scarred landscape of Central Otago. The region is renowned for its stunning scenery of rugged mountains and picturesque lakes.  We produce premium wines of intense varietal characteristics in Central Otago, the world’s most southerly grape-growing region. Central Otago, at 45º south, has a climate similar to Burgundy, France, the great Pinot Noir producing region of the world. All our wines exhibit strong varietal characteristics, highlighted in the white varieties by crisp acids, which are typical of the region. It has also become apparent that like Burgundy there are distinct ‘appellations’ within Central Otago. For this reason, to fully exploit the potential of the region, it is a distinct advantage to have vineyards in different ‘appellations’.


Marlborough - South Island

Wairau River (pronounced why-row) produces wines exclusively sourced from our family estate vineyards first established in 1978 by Phil & Chris Rose. Hand tended in small batches from vine to bottle, low crops and ultra ripe fruit are utilised to produce premium wine that has become renowned for exhibiting intense fruit characteristics and classical elegance. With nine estate vineyards of around 700 acres, Wairau River Wines can maintain total commitment to quality by carefully managing these sites to keep yields low and quality high.  The extended Rose family are all heavily involved in the business – so we are a true family owned and managed winery.



Alentejo, in Arraiolos



Located in the village of Arraiolos, one hour away from Lisbon, Monte da Ravasqueira has maintained a three generation link to the José de Mello family since 1943.  The vast area of typical Alentejo landscape and the unique geological and climatic conditions found here led José Manuel de Mello to believe that Monte da Ravasqueira had everything to be a producer of high quality wines. The dream began to take shape in 1998 when, after a series of geological studies to choose the best grape varieties and the best spots, an old orchard gives rise to the first vineyards Today, Monte da Ravasqueira extends over approximately 3 000 hectares, a total of 15 different grape varieties distributed over 29 plots, planted in 8 distinct types of soil, which allow for the production of the region’s best wines.

Painted Wolf Wines is a dynamic and innovative South African wine company. Elgin Valley, South Africa

The Elgin Valley is located 70km southeast of Cape Town in the Overberg region. It is uniquely set on a high plateau surrounded by four mountain ranges.  Sutherland Vineyards are situated just 9km off the Atlantic Ocean with altitudes of 140 to 250m above sea level, due to this proximity, ideal cool climate conditions are created. One can expect wines of linearity, accessibility and modernity.  Our winemakers emulate the same ethos when making Thelema as is used with Sutherland. The home of these wines can be found at Thelema Mountain Vineyards in Stellenbosch as this is where they are produced and bottled.

Situated on the South Easterly side of the Simonsberg Mountain with elevations 530m above sea level with mainly south-facing slopes, possessing some of the highest elevations in Stellenbosch. The high altitude and the rich red soils are ideal for premium quality wine grape production.   Through the understanding of our optimal climate and soil type, we have firmly entrenched ourselves as one of the leaders in Cabernet Sauvignon, placing Stellenbosch Cabernet’s firmly on the global wine map.  As we believe grape quality is the single most important factor in serious winemaking, our policy in one of minimum interference, allowing the wines to be a true expression of each vineyard.


Stellenbosch, South Africa





Waterford Estate is situated in the picturesque Blaauwklippen Valley, in the world-renowned Stellenbosch region. We believe in the old adage of 'less is more'. There is nothing pretentious or ostentatious about the estate, rather the visual impact is one of a seamless whole, which complements rather than detracts from the surrounding natural beauty.  For this reason we have also chosen to use only half of the total 120 hectares of our land for the planting of vines in order to preserve and maintain the natural fauna and flora on the Estate.  Waterford Estate is owned by the Ord Family and developed under the watchful eye of Kevin Arnold, Cellar Master and Managing Partner, since 1998.  Our winery was styled along the engaging terracotta design and was the result of winemaker Kevin Arnold and architect Alex Walker teaming up to create the home of Waterford Estate wines. The centerpiece of the courtyard is the magnificent and iconic fountain. This feature has been immortalised in the Waterford Estate label and represents a fundamental component of our philosophy.

Bodegas San Alejandro was founded in 1962 in Miedes of Aragon (Zaragoza), in a privileged location for the culture of the grapevine, the altitude of its vineyards, the rigor of the climate, the slow ripeness of its grapes, the diversity of its soils and multiple singularities composed by its terroir.  It receives its name in honor to San Alejandro, whose remains are in the Franciscan Convent of the S.XVII of Mudejar style placed in Miedes.  Since then, Bodegas San Alejandro has grown and evolved supporting always its people, its land and its culture. A culture that BSA promotes in more than 30 countries over the world.

Vinedos Alonso del Yerro is a story of a passion. The passion shared by all the Alonso del Yerro family since we started this project in 2002 to work out a group of plots thoroughly selected and planted with Tempranillo grapes with the aim of producing high-quality wines following our main principles: respect for the environment, passion for excellence, love for the family and friendship’s value.  Since the beginning, we’ve been surrounded by a group of professionals which understand, as we do, the principles of great wines. We have a team of professionals led by Stéphane Derenoncourt at Finca Santa Marta (Roa, Spain). Thanks to their talent and experience and combined with the passion shared by all the people working at Viñedos Alonso del Yerro, we’ve created two unique wines: Alonso del Yerro and María.  Late in 2007, we decided to widen our wine horizons to the region of Toro by acquiring 9 hectares of Tinta de Toro which have resulted in a new wine, Paydos, following the same qualitative principles of its “brothers” from Ribera del Duero but extracting all the power offered by the Tinta de Toro grape in the best vineyards of the region.

Hosmer Winery is home to Patrician Verona Vineyard established in 1972, comprised of the nearly 70 acres of grapes that provide Hosmer Winery with the fruit to remain a fully functioning estate winery. The vineyard frames our tasting room and production facility creating a picturesque setting on the western shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. With silt loam soils, shale bedrock, and Easterly sloping land that matches near-maximum lake width and depth, Patrician Verona is ideally situated within the Finger Lakes Region to produce premium wine grapes. The grapes include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc, among several other natives and hybrids. By preserving and building soil the grapes are grown on and exploring new ways to reduce environmental impacts, the vines can inhabit a site less altered by modern agricultural inputs. The wines can portray a truer reflection of the Patrician Verona Vineyard site.
